I didn't care for it as a personal fragrance due to the strong wintergreen. I used it in my diffuser when I had a migraine and was surprised when I got relief from my headache. My migraines always last 3 days and this one was stopped on the first day after using Past Tense blend. I will always have this blend on hand.

The scent is strong and it smells (to quote a friend) like a dirty hippy . However, I used this on friends with tension issues and by the next day they were looking up the do terra website :)

This product works well if you have a tension headache. It does help to relieve some migraines too but not quite as well for me. Of course I get such severe migraines it usually takes an Imitrex shot or Morphine to knock mine down, but I DO get a bit of relief with this product and any help is appreciated.
You do need to be carefull where you apply it. If you use it in the temple area, be sure to do it closer to the hair line as it will migrate down towards the eye corner and can cause burning.
When first applied your skin will feel as though it is burning but stay calm, that is just the oils working to break up that tension. There wil be NO actual burns, just the sensation. I carry a bottle every where I go because headaches don't wait for convenient times.
You can just roll it onor you can roll it on and massage it in. Either way works but I prefer the full strength of the oil seeping into the trouble spots.
It isn't only for headaches though, feel free to use it on the muscles in your neck or various other tense areas.

My 14 year old daughter has suffeed with migraines for some time now and has gone through 3 sets of of different prescriptions... The last time she was even given Tylenol with codine for a headache that lasted 14 days..which didn't work eother.. When I finally purchased past tense after debating on doing so for days.... She put it on and the migraine went away! She has been out of school at least once to twice a week because of her migraine. She cares the Past Tense with her daily now and I recommend it to anyone! I has been the only thing that helped her.

I like how easy it is to apply with the roll on. The scent is very heavy on the wintergreen. Past Tense tingles and soothes away an impending headache.
