Planting and maintaining your own garden has many benefits; however, the dirt-stained hands you get from gardening are far from ideal. This easy-to-make Gardener's Hand Soap exfoliates, cleanses, and moisturizes all in one use!

Ingredients

½ cup white sugar
3 tablespoons liquid castile soap
1 teaspoon almond oil
7 drops Clary Sage oil
5 drops Melaleuca oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, add all ingredients and stir until smooth and combined.
  2. Pour into air-tight container and keep next to sink for easy use.
  3. To use, grab a handful of soap and scrub at your dirt-covered hands. After you're done, your hands will be clean, soft, and exfoliated.

DIY Heat Protectant Spray with dōTERRA Oils

Shield your strands with a heat protectant spray made with Clary Sage and Geranium essential oils. Easy to make, this DIY spray will have your hair feeling full and healthy.


Ingredients:
1 teaspoon Fractionated Coconut Oil
1 tablespoon sweet almond oil
2 teaspoons doTERRA Salon Essential Smoothing Conditioner
1 cup water
5 drops Clary Sage essential oil
5 drops Geranium essential oil
Small spray bottle


Directions:

  1. Pour half of water into spray bottle.
  2. Add Fractionated Coconut Oil, sweet almond oil, conditioner, and essential oils into bottle.
  3. Add remaining water and shake well.
  4. To use, apply one spritz to hair and work it through until hair is lightly coated. Style as normal.

Herbal Hairspray with dōTERRA Oils

Making your own hairspray is easy with essential oils and only takes a few simple ingredients you already have at home. It can easily be customizable to your favorite essential oils and to your preferred hold.
 
Ingredients
1 cup water
4 teaspoons sugar 
2 drops Geranium oil
2 drops Lavender oil
2 drops Rosemary oil
2 drops Clary Sage oil
 
Tip: Use more or less sugar depending on how strong you want the hold to be.
 
Note: Feel free to customize the essential oils to your preference. You can use one or all of the essential oils listed above. However, be careful using citrus oils as they can lighten your hair if exposed to UV light.
 
Instructions
  1. In saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring heat to boil and stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Pour essential oil into 8-ounce glass fine mist spray bottle and add cooled sugar water. 
  3. Use as you would any other hairspray.
