Ingredients
¼ cup rosewater (can be purchased at health food stores)
5 drops Lavender oil
5 drops Melaleuca oil
5 drops Helichrysum oil
5 drops Myrrh oil
 
Instructions
  1. Place Fractionated Coconut Oil and rosewater in glass spray or pump bottle. 
  2. Add essential oils and shake.
  3. To use, spray directly on skin or place two to three pumps in palms and rub on affected skin.

Clay Facial Mask with dōTERRA Oils

Ingredients
2 teaspoons bentonite clay
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 drop Lavender oil
1 drop Melaleuca oil
 
Note: Bentonite clay can be purchased at your local health food store. Do not use a metal bowl or spoon with bentonite clay as it can make it less effective.
 
Instructions
  1. Combine clay and vinegar in bowl and stir until well combined.
Tip: For a thicker mask, add an additional ½ teaspoon of clay.
  1. Add essential oils.
  2. Apply to clean skin, avoiding the areas around eyes and mouth.
  3. Let dry for 5–15 minutes.
  4. Rinse with warm water and follow with moisturizer.

Instructions
  1. In glass spray bottle add essential oils and top off with water. 
  2. To use, shake the bottle then spray.
Note: Depending on the size of your spray bottle you may wish to use more or less, but make sure to keep the ratio of twice the amount of Douglas Fir to equal parts Frankincense and Grapefruit.

Powder Cleanser with dōTERRA Lemon

Deep cleaning doesn't have to mean hours of scrubbing on your hands and knees. This powdered cleanser makes it easy to clean even the grimiest of surfaces with little to no work. Just sprinkle on the surface, walk away for 15–30 minutes, and then wipe clean.
 
Ingredients
2 cups borax
1 cup baking soda
½ cup citric acid
½ cup kosher salt
20 drops Lemon oil
 
Note: Although borax is natural, it can be toxic when ingested and should be kept away from children and pets. If you are concerned about using borax, you can omit it.
 
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and stir until combined.
  2. Store in a large shaker bottle.
  3. To use, dampen surface and sprinkle powder over area you want to clean.Let sit for 15–30 minutes. For an extra cleansing boost, spray distilled vinegar on powder and wipe clean.
Tip: Use an old spice or Parmesan cheese shaker as your shaker bottle.

  1. Combine all ingredients in a glass container and mix well.
  2. Spray on the surface you wish to clean and wipe off with a clean cloth.

Tips: Use this mixture with a toothbrush, microfiber cloth, or other cleaning tool to dust, shine surfaces, and remove dirt and grime around the home. This mixture can be combined in a spray bottle and kept in your kitchen or bathroom for easy access to daily spills and messes. Shake well before each use.

If you’ve ever purchased a brand new vase, bowl, or candle, you’ve most likely had to deal with the struggle of removing tough adhesive. Luckily, Lemon essential oil is an excellent resource for removing even the most stubborn of glues. 

Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 5 drops Lemon essential oil
  • 1 cup water
  • Cleansing wipe or towel
Directions:
  1. For sticker removal, first peel off the parts of the sticker that will come off easily. If paper remnants are left behind, the solution should still be able to soak through.
  2. Combine baking soda, Lemon, and water in a small bowl or dish. 
  3. Apply mixture to sticky surface and let soak for 2-5 minutes. 
  4. Use a damp towel or cleansing wipe to remove adhesive easily.
Note: Lemon essential oil can also be used on its own to remove adhesive by applying one or two drops to an adhesive surface.

Ingredients
1 roll premium paper towels
2 cups warm water
2 tablespoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
3 drops doTERRA On Guard Protective Blend
1–2 tablespoons doTERRA On Guard Foaming Hand Wash

Instructions

  1. Cut paper towel in half widthwise with serrated or electric knife. Use half roll now and half later.
  2. Combine water, Fractionated Coconut Oil, essential oils, and On Guard Foaming Hand Wash in a small bowl.
  3. Pour mixture over paper towels and cover with airtight lid. Let mixture absorb for 10 minutes.
  4. Turn container over and let sit for another 10 minutes.
  5. Remove and discard cardboard tube. Pull wipes from center of the roll when ready to use.

Ingredients

⅓ cup aloe vera gel (do not use juice or aloe from a plant as the cream won't whip properly)
2 tablespoons sweet almond oil
2 tablespoons jojoba oil
½ tablespoon beeswax
10 drops Lavender oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, gently heat the almond and jojoba oils with the beeswax. 
  2. Once melted, transfer your mixture to a deep mixing bowl.Leave to cool for an hour or until the mixture reaches room temperature.
  3. Slowly add the aloe vera gel and Lavender oil as you blend the mixture with a hand blender.
  4. Continue adding aloe until you have reached your desired consistency.
  5. Store in an airtight container and apply to skin liberally.

For many women, recovery after labor and delivery involves tender skin, especially for those who experience tearing or receive an episiotomy. 6 tablespoons witch hazel

4 tablespoons filtered water

5 drops Lavender oil

5 drops Frankincense oil

 Directions

  1. Combine witch hazel and water in a small glass spray bottle. The bottle pictured here is much larger, to demonstrate a larger portion.
  2. Add Lavender oil and Frankincense oil.
  3. Shake well and apply to perineum, or spray onto feminine hygiene pads for a cooling effect.

Commercial air fresheners can bring many unnatural aromas into your home. There are, however, completely safe and natural alternatives to help keep your home refreshed. Make your own air freshener that has only two ingredients—baking soda and essential oils! 


Ingredients:

¼ cup baking soda
5–6 drops of your favorite essential oil


Instructions:

  1. Put ¼ cup baking soda into a small Mason jar. Add 5–6 drops of your favorite doTERRA essential oil or blend.
    Recommended Essential Oils: doTERRA Balance, Cassia, Geranium, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemon, doTERRA On Guard, Purify, or Wild Orange.
  2. Put piece of fabric on jar and seal with jar band.
  3. To keep an area smelling fresh, place jar on a solid surface and shake often to activate the fresh scent.
  4. If scent starts to fade, simply add 2–3 drops of essential oil to jar.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons shea butter
1 teaspoon beeswax
7 drops Lavender or Myrrh oil 
 
Instructions
  1. In small glass container, combine shea butter, beeswax, and Fractionated Coconut Oil
  2. Place in saucepan with 1–1 ½ inches of boiling water
  3. Stir ingredients for 5–10 minutes until combined
    Tip: Use a popsicle stick for easy cleanup. 
  4. Once melted, remove from heat and let rest for 3 minutes
  5. Add essential oils and stir
  6. Pour into container and let harden 2–3 hours
  7. To use, just apply a small amount to cuticles and rub until absorbed.
